RTS Ready is part of RTS Group. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" means RTS Ready. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and store it, and how you can access or correct it.

2. What we collect

We only collect the information we need to respond to your enquiry and deliver our services. This may include:

  • your name, email address and phone number
  • your organisation's name and your site address
  • details about your site and needs, such as the service you're interested in, the number of people to be trained, building and floor details, and any hazards or access requirements you tell us about
  • the names of people attending training, so we can issue Certificates of Attendance
  • how you heard about us, and anything else you choose to tell us
  • basic technical information when you visit our website, such as your IP address and browser type

We don't ask for sensitive information such as health information. Please don't include it in an enquiry unless it's needed for us to deliver a service safely.

3. How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you when you fill in our enquiry form, email or call us, book a service, or attend a session. If someone in your organisation books on your behalf, we may receive your details from them.

4. How we use it

We use your personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiry and send you an estimate or quote
  • plan and deliver the services you book, including site visits, training, drills, audits and diagrams
  • issue certificates, reports and records for your compliance file
  • manage invoicing, administration and our ongoing relationship with you
  • improve our services and website

We may occasionally send you information about our services, such as refresher reminders. You can opt out at any time by replying to the email or contacting us.

5. Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We only share it when needed to run our business or when the law requires it, including with:

  • other businesses in RTS Group, such as RTS Training, where they help deliver a service you've booked
  • service providers who support our business, such as website hosting, email, form and spam-protection services, and IT support
  • government bodies, regulators or others where we're required or authorised by law

Some of these service providers may store information on servers outside Australia. When this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled in line with Australian privacy law.

6. Our website

When you submit our enquiry form, your details are stored securely in our website system and emailed to our team. Our website uses only the cookies it needs to work properly. We don't use advertising cookies.

Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google. Our website may also link to other sites, such as Google reviews. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

7. How we store and protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, change or disclosure. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as required by law, and then securely delete or de-identify it.

8. Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it's wrong, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below. We'll respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.

9. Questions and complaints

If you have a question or concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
